Part-Time, 20 Hours/Week – Vienna

To strengthen our product and marketing team, we are looking for a UX/UI Designer & Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) starting January 2026. We are a Vienna-based cybersecurity startup developing Minerva, an AI-powered Security Operations Center (SOC) platform. This is a funded project position offering a 6 month engagement with the option to extend. Your Responsibilities:

UX/UI Design

  • Design intuitive and responsive interfaces for cybersecurity analysts working with AI-driven security tools.
  • Create dashboards and visualization tools to present complex security insights clearly.
  • Develop user workflows that simplify incident response tasks for SOC teams.
  • Ensure the platform supports multi-tenancy and role-based access controls.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing with cybersecurity professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with AI engineers, full-stack developers, and cybersecurity experts.
  • Maintain design consistency and develop design systems/component libraries.
  • Plus point: Hands on coding and implement your designs in React components

Marketing & Communication Support

  • Support go-to-market strategy and positioning for cybersecurity professionals.
  • Create user-facing content, product documentation, and marketing materials.
  • Help shape messaging that resonates with technical audiences (CISOs, SOC managers, MSSPs).
  • Assist with case studies, presentations, and sales collateral.

Your Profile

·       Proven experience in UX/UI design, preferably for B2B SaaS or technical/enterprise products.

·       Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and problem-solving.

·       Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar).

·       Understanding of design systems, responsive design, and accessibility standards.

·       Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive

interfaces.

·       Interest in cybersecurity, AI, or enterprise security software is a strong plus.

·       Experience designing for data-intensive applications, dashboards, or security tools is highly valued.

·       Knowledge of React and ability to code your own designs is a significant plus – we'd love someone who can bridge design and development

·       Background in marketing communications or content creation is a plus.

·       Residence in Vienna and availability for hybrid work.

·       Excellent English (working language); German is a plus.
