This is your chance to shape the digital storefront for one of the world's most beloved children's bike brands. As our UI/UX Designer, you will be the creative heart of our global e-commerce platform, crafting compelling and intuitive user interfaces that turn browsers into loyal customers.

Your mission is to blend woom's playful, premium brand identity with best-in-class, conversion-focused design. With a mobile-first approach, you will drive how our website shows up not just as a brand window, but as a powerful, data-informed sales channel. You'll partner closely with our E-commerce Data Analyst, transforming deep insights into designs that feel effortless and create joy.

You will join our global in-house creative team, working in a key collaborative role alongside our e-commerce, marketing, and IT teams. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and help grow a love brand with a digital-first mindset

Your Mission

• Design for Impact: Take ownership of the UI/UX design for our global e-commerce platform. You'll optimize the entire user journey, from product discovery and landing pages to a frictionless, world-class checkout experience.
• Partner with Data: Collaborate closely with our E-commerce Data Analyst to translate insights into actionable design solutions that enhance conversion and engagement.
• Craft the Experience: Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual designs that can actually be implemented. You bring a mobile-first, responsive, and accessible design approach.
• Champion the User & Brand: Ensure every digital touchpoint consistently reflects and reinforces our brand identity, fostering a strong, emotional connection with our users. You'll validate your designs through user research and usability testing.
• Evolve our System: Maintain and evolve our Design System in Figma, ensuring all digital products are consistent, scalable, and built efficiently.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with internal design, e-commerce, and development teams.

Your Skills

• Proven Experience: Min. 3-5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful web and mobile-first e-commerce projects. We want to see how your designs solved problems and impacted business metrics.
• E-commerce Expert: A proven track record of designing for conversion, optimizing funnels, and improving core e-commerce KPIs.
• Your Toolkit: Mastery of modern design and prototyping tools, especially Figma.
• Data-Fluent: You leverage data insights into design decisions.
• Design System Pro: Experience in building and maintaining scalable design systems.
• Visual Craftsmanship: An excellent visual design eye for detail, typography, and premium, playful aesthetics.
• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively. Ability to filter and integrate feedback.
• Tech Curiosity: A solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS is a plus) and how designs get implemented.
• Bonus Points: Experience with Shopify Plus ecosystems; experience with AI-powered design tools.

• Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a strong plus.

Our sustainable and lightweight bikes have won awards and created a loyal customer base all over the world We are an international, multicultural team with more than 10 nationalities. Our working environment is flexible: in our cool office, you sit in the middle of the team for optimal exchange, but you also have enough space to work in peace and the possibility to use home office. With over 180 employees, it can be difficult to maintain the startup atmosphere, so we place a lot of emphasis on a friendly working atmosphere and extensive onboarding.

For this position, we offer you a gross monthly salary starting at EUR 3.200 on a full-time basis. Of course, we take into account your individual qualifications and experience and are willing to pay an appropriate overpayment. We will be happy to discuss details in person.
