Junior / Graduate AI & Data Scientist
who wants to apply their academic knowledge to real-world problems. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to
build end-to-end data science solutions and AI-Agents
, learn from experienced team, and grow into a strong applied data scientist.

About the
ML for Gastronomy
Project

We are currently developing a
data analysis dashboard for small businesses
, starting with gastronomy. The goal is to help owners and operators unlock the full value of their operational data and make better decisions.

The product is currently in an
advanced Proof of Concept (PoC)
stage and has already gained traction with potential users. The next steps include:

  1. Converting the PoC into a
    fully functional MVP
    ,
  2. Optimising data models
    for existing use cases,
  3. Developing
    new user-driven use cases
    , including
    Generative AI features
    .

You'll be working directly on this product, contributing to its evolution from early-stage prototype to production-ready solution.

Your Mission

  • Develop
    end-to-end data science pipelines
    , including:
  • Data collection and ingestion
  • Data cleaning and preprocessing
  • Data labelling and feature engineering
  • Visualisation and exploratory data analysis
  • Model training, evaluation, and implementation
  • Contribute to our
    Python-based stack
    , including:
  • Streamlit front-end applications
  • FastAPI back-end services
  • Data visualisation with Plotly and similar tools
  • Work closely with senior data scientists and engineers to translate business questions into analytical solutions
  • Continuously improve code quality, model performance, and scientific rigor

What You Bring

Core Skills (Required):

  • Strong proficiency in
    Python
    and data science libraries such as:
  • numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, polars, streamlit
  • Excellent
    written and spoken English
  • High standards for
    code quality, clarity, and reproducibility
  • Strong
    scientific rigor
    and analytical thinking
  • A
    MSc or PhD
    in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics)

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with
    time series analysis
  • Experience deploying
    web applications or data products
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, or cloud environments
