Your Responsibilities:

  • Qualify synchronous generators from various manufacturers for INNIO Jenbacher gas engine applications
  • Drive generator quality improvements, cost reduction, and root cause analysis; provide technical expertise at component level
  • Maintain and update the engine-generator database for Jenbacher gas engine sets
  • Revise and approve generator order specifications; support requisition engineering to meet customer requirements
  • Apply engineering guidelines, design practices, and legal standards to ensure efficient engineering and global product compliance
  • Collaborate within the generators & grid connection devices team and across disciplines (controls, mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical engineering, systems design)

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components in synchronous generators
  • Familiarity with quality systems (ISO), tools (DFMEA, DVP), and techniques (DFSS, DFR)
  • Strong communication skills in German and English; comfortable in an international environment
  • Willingness to travel
