Scouting & Research Assistant (f/m/x)

The annual Innovation in Politics Awards recognise creative politicians from across Europe who are breaking new ground with innovative solutions to today's challenges. The Awards highlight projects that exemplify European values of social balance, democracy, and human rights, regardless of political party affiliation or level of government.

The roles and responsibilities include:

• Conducting desk research: Identify and research potential projects that align with the criteria of the Innovation in Politics Awards
• Gathering project information: Collect and summarise project details, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Communication with project owners: Initiate and maintain contact with project owners to verify information accuracy, gather additional details, and ensure alignment with submission requirements.
• Time management: Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within a flexible schedule.
• Proficient in English, with additional language skills (e.g., German, French, or other European languages) being a plus.

Die ECoD gemeinnützige GmbH (ECoD NPO) wurde 2021 vom Innovation in Politics Institute gegründet, einer unabhängigen und überparteilichen Organisation, die Innovationen im privaten und öffentlichen Sektor identifiziert, entwickelt und umsetzt, um die Demokratie in Europa zu stärken.

Als gemeinnützige Organisation hat ECoD NPO die Aufgabe, demokratische Regierungsführung zu fördern und den sozialen Zusammenhalt zu stärken, indem sie die Beteiligung und das Bewusstsein in den Mitgliedstaaten des Europarats fördert und ausbaut.

Zu diesem Zweck wird jedes Jahr eine Europäische Hauptstadt der Demokratie ernannt – Barcelona in den Jahren 2023/24 und Wien in den Jahren 2024/25. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Zivilgesellschaft und den Bürgern organisiert und veranstaltet die Stadt, die den Titel trägt, ein Demokratiejahr mit einer Vielzahl von Aktivitäten und Veranstaltungen.
