The International Youth Foundation oversees the activities of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). The EUYO stands at the heart of Europe's cultural landscape, bringing together exceptional young musicians from all 27 EU member states and touring the world.

We are seeking a London based, hybrid working Executive Assistant to join our international team.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Reporting to the Head of Executive & Finance

20 hours / week, £15 / hour gross

6 month period or more, starting February 2026

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of music, management, and European collaboration, supporting the leadership of one of the world's most celebrated youth orchestras.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly reconciliation of bank statements
  • Monthly cash flow reconciliation
  • Checking and reconciling of paid invoices for monthly reporting purposes
  • Issuing of sales invoices and recording of income
  • Liaising with the UK, Italian and Austrian accountants upon instruction
  • Liaising with staff and vendors to resolve accountancy-related queries
  • Drafting contracts for artists as necessary
  • Assisting in grant application and reporting procedures as necessary
  • Monitoring of project and annual budgets as necessary
  • Monitoring, updating and meeting task schedules and finishing to deadline
  • General assistance to the production and Communications teams as required and time permitting

Essential Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Effective organisational and communication skills
  • Efficient time management and impeccable attention to detail
  • Demonstrable IT skills, including MS Office
  • A team player with the flexibility and reactivity required in a small business environment
