Your main tasks are creditor accounting, preparation of the payroll and preparing data for the controlling interfaces.

What you will do at Skyside...

Accounts Payable / Creditor Accounting

• Record, verify, and post supplier invoices and credit notes in compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal departments.
• Monitor due dates and ensure timely and accurate payment runs.
• Maintain master data for vendors (bank details, payment terms, tax IDs, etc.).
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accrual postings and reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany payables and ensure proper documentation.
• Oversee compliance with internal controls, approval hierarchies, and audit requirements.

Payroll Data Preparation

• Collect and verify monthly payroll-relevant data (e.g., time records, bonuses, variable pay, absences).
• Coordinate with HR and external payroll service providers to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Review payroll results for accuracy and correct accounting of payroll-related costs.
• Post payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts (e.g., salaries payable, taxes, social security).
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company payroll accounting requirements.

Controlling & Data Interfaces

• Prepare and transmit accounting and cost data for controlling interfaces (e.g., cost centers, projects, internal orders).
• Support the integration between financial accounting and controlling systems (FI/CO interface).
• Analyze variances between actual and planned expenses, providing explanations for deviations.
• Provide accurate and timely data for management reporting and budget tracking.
• Collaborate with the controlling department to ensure correct cost allocations and reporting structures.

Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Continuously improve creditor accounting, payroll, and data flow processes.
• Support the implementation of ERP system enhancements and digital workflows.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Train or mentor junior accounting staff.

Your profile may include...

(but does not require)

• Good experience in BMD software and banking applications
• Good knowledge of Austrian and international accounting codex
• Knowledge of standard IT skills (MS Office etc.) and IT systems such as MS Excel, BMD
• German and English skills
• Unrestricted working permit for Austria
