We are seeking an empathetic and inspiring leader to guide our talented software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where team members can thrive both personally and professionally. Your primary focus will be on your people: mentoring and developing them, removing roadblocks, and steering the team's technical direction in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead two agile full-stack teams focused on building core platform services that power all TeamViewer products, and take full ownership of delivering on the product roadmap
  • Ensure high code quality and overall team performance, holding responsibility for technical excellence and delivery
  • Leverage your solid technical background to inspire, guide, and mentor the teams, ensuring their solutions are scalable, reusable, and easy to integrate by other teams
  • Promote an agile mindset and support the team in delivering software that meets the highest standards in stability, performance, and security
  • Foster a culture of open communication and continuous feedback within the teams
  • Support the personal and professional growth of team members, helping them reach their full potential

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership position within an agile software development environment
  • At least 5 years of hands-on development experience with Java, React, C++,  or Kotlin
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles, object-oriented design patterns, scalable distributed systems, security, and network communication
  • Analytical and structured working style with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
  • Passion for continuous learning and a proactive attitude toward new challenges
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as German are a plus
