They interact directly with people across the company, from the founders to marketing, business development, and customer happiness teams. Every product team member gets the chance to quickly take over responsibility and directly impact their product and the millions of people using it.
They work with React, Redux, Less, Webpack in the front-end and Microservices based on and Java Spring in the back-end.
Their architecture is built on scalable micro services and is running in the Amazon Web Services cloud.
  YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and guide the frontend team and be a role model for all developers
  • Take ownership and improve their Frontend Architecture (Structure, Frameworks, Technologies)
  • Define and execute development standards and processes
  • Develop new SPAs and features for their products with full end-to-end responsibility
  • Proactively contribute to UX and design decisions
  • Write integration and unit tests to ensure high quality and well tested features
  • Work with their CTO to improve the performance, security and availability of their platform
  • Stay on top of current technology trends to introduce new technologies that enhance their product and way of working
    YOUR PROFILE
  • 6+ years of front-end development experience
  • Experience in being responsible for Frontend Architecture and in leading other colleagues (team lead)
  • Deep knowledge of ReactJS/ES6, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, LESS or Sass, WebPack
  • A strong sense for good screen design/usability combined with very high quality standards
  • Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps best practices is a plus
  • Take ownership and responsibility
  • Lead colleagues by example
  • Active communicator, hands-on team player and open for feedback
  • Flexibility and high level of personal commitment
  • Fluency in English is essential as it's the working language, German is an advantage
  •  A valid visa/work permit to live and work in the EU/Austria is required
