The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for managing and enhancing security systems and controls that protect the company's infrastructure, applications, and data. This hands-on role will collaborate cross-functionally to implement security best practices and technologies that reduce risk, enable compliance, and support incident response capabilities.

• Incident Response & Monitoring: Participate in on-call rotation for security incidents, manage EDR/SIEM detection rules, and conduct threat/APT monitoring, hunting, and simulation to detect and mitigate malicious activity.
• System Hardening & Security Operations: Harden systems, optimise security tools and processes, and automate workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Risk Assessment & Compliance: Perform security scanning, phishing campaigns, risk assessments, and audits to maintain robust security posture.
• Employee Awareness & Training: Educate employees on security best practices and raise awareness to strengthen organizational security culture.
• Continuous Learning & Expertise Development: Expand knowledge through ongoing training, certifications, and staying up to date with emerging threats and security technologies.

• 5+ years in hands-on information security, including incident response, threat hunting, SIEM, scripting, and digital forensics.
• Expertise in system hardening, network security controls (firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS), and configuration remediation.
• Strong knowledge of compliance standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, DORA).
• Self-driven, vendor-agnostic problem solver able to own security projects end-to-end.
• Effective communicator with cross-functional teams; fluent in English.
