We are looking for a Product Developer Watches with proven experience and a passion for design and innovation, to help us expand our watch collections and bring new stories to life. If you have a sharp eye for what's next in watches, strong organizational skills and the ability to bring ideas to life through strong supplier collaboration, this role could be your next adventure.

As a key player in shaping future collections, you will be responsible for taking ideas from concept to production. You will ensure each piece reflects our brand's essence: natural beauty, authenticity and lasting value, while expanding our watch collections and bringing new stories to life.

• Research trends to identify new opportunities for Holzkern collections and translate into compelling business cases
• Translate trend insights into clear product development briefs that align with our brand identity for both male and female designs
• Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners, ensuring smooth collaboration
• Facilitate effective internal communication and become a trusted partner for all product related questions
• Oversee the development process from concept to finished product, balancing creativity, feasibility and cost efficiency
• Monitor product quality and resolve any challenges during sampling and production
• Keep track of all product specifications, costings and timelines, ensuring deadlines are met

• 4–6 years of proven experience in product management, development, or production within the watch industry
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Design, or a related field
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of watch manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, and technical components
• Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple timelines and deliverables simultaneously
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with design, marketing, production, and supply chain teams, as well as external suppliers and partners
• Creativity & Design Sense: Keen eye for detail, design, and innovation, with a strong appreciation for horology and current watch trends
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented and proactive approach to improving product processes, resolving challenges and pattern recognition
• Market Awareness: Solid understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning in the watch and fashion industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment while managing shifting priorities and deadlines

Workplace: Hybrid (Holzkern HQ in Vienna and home office)

Salary: The salary for this position starts at € 2.800,- per month. Your actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications – we are happy to offer more for exceptional candidates.
