Project Development Manager | Renewable Energy | Vienna | Hybrid
We're working with a fast-growing platform focused on developing renewable energy projects across Europe.
They are now looking to hire a
Project Developer
with experience in
ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse, international team and contribute to projects that benefit both communities and the environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead PV and BESS projects from site identification through to construction readiness.
- Manage grid connection processes and ensure all technical, legal, and economic requirements are met.
- Coordinate external partners and project developers.
- Prepare and manage project budgets with support from senior management.
- Support financing, PPA negotiations, and project sales.
Essential Skills:
- Degree in a relevant field ( e.g. economics, renewable energy or agriculture)
- Proven experience in renewable energy project development and a strong professional network.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with high personal accountability.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluent in
German
and proficient in
English
. - Willingness to travel across project locations.
