As Head of IT Department (f/m/x) you will take responsibility for a dedicated team and actively shape the technological development of a globally successful high-tech company.

Job Description

  • Lead a specialized IT department (approximately 10 employees)
  • Ensure the operation and continuous development of IT systems
  • Manage change processes (change requests) and contribute to national and international IT projects
  • Collaborate closely with business units and subsidiaries to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide hands-on operational support to your team members on technical and methodological matters
  • Plan and coordinate tasks, schedules, and resources within the department

Qualifications

  • Completed education with a focus on business administration or business informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international environment
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems combined with a solid understanding of business processes
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 5,000 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That's why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
