Job Description

  • Design, Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung moderner Cloud-Datenplattformen auf Microsoft Azure.
  • Entwicklung, Betrieb und Optimierung skalierbarer ETL/ELT-Pipelines für Analytics- und Reporting-Anwendungen.
  • Arbeit mit Azure Data Services wie Azure Synapse, Databricks und Microsoft Fabric.
  • Datenmodellierung für Data Warehouses, Data Marts und analytische Use Cases.
  • Integration von CI/CD-Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code und DevOps-Prinzipien.
  • Sicherstellung von Datenqualität, Performance, Sicherheit und Data Governance.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit BI-, Cloud- und DevOps-Teams in komplexen Enterprise-Projekten.

The Successful Applicant

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als Data Engineer (idealerweise 4+ Jahre).
  • Sehr guter Microsoft-Azure-Background im Data- & Analytics-Umfeld.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in:
  • ETL/ELT-Tooling
  • Data Modeling & Data Warehousing
  • Data Governance
  • Sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python und SQL.
  • Erfahrung mit Databricks zwingend erforderlich; Kenntnisse in dbt von Vorteil.
  • Praxis mit CI/CD, Docker und Kubernetes.
  • Erfahrung mit relationalen Datenbanken (z. B. SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL).
  • Solider Computer-Science-Background (Studium oder vergleichbare Ausbildung).
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
  • Wohnsitz in Deutschland oder Österreich, idealerweise in erreichbarer Nähe zu einem Standort.
