About This Role
This role drives the integration of management targets and strategy into the sales budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring scalable, data-driven, and trackable setups. You'll lead trading analysis, performance deep dives, and real-time insights using tools like Anaplan, SQL and Python to optimize sales performance and target accuracy.

We're looking for a data-savvy individual (1–3 years' experience) with strong commercial understanding, clear communication, and fluency in German and English to turn complex analytics into actionable strategies.

Location: Wien (Hybrid - 3 days in our Vienna office & 2 days from home)
Reporting to: Lead Business Analyst
*These are the key components to the position*

• Integrate management targets and strategy into the sales budgeting process, ensuring scalable, trackable, and data-driven setups.
• Own the full trading process, including forecasting, data input, performance analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Conduct budget and target gap analyses, identifying top and underperforming partners, acquisition quality, and setup efficiency.
• Perform in-depth causal and correlation analyses to understand key commercial drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Lead market, partner, and churn impact analyses to guide real-time adjustments and enable sales effectiveness.
• Leverage tools such as Anaplan, SQL, and AI-based analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy and data insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define realistic targets, deliver actionable insights, and support continuous process improvements.

*What will you bring to the team?*

• Education: Degree in data focused studies in combination with Economics, Finance, IT or comparable subjects
• Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in Analytics/Intel (preferably paired with Finance)
• Expertise: Understanding of commercial metrics, impact of interventions & connection between KPIs.
• Technical skills: Experience with Anaplan, SQL, Google Sheets, Python, GitHub & AI
• Clear communication skills: Able to provide the teams with clear goals that enable them to reach their targets; provide them with support & insights needed
• Languages: Fluent in German and English
• Soft skills: Strategic thinking, ability to work in a team, resilience, transfer detailed knowledge & insights into a clear, easy to understand structure
