We're looking for a Senior Environmental Planning Consultant to lead complex environmental approvals and make a real impact across sectors including energy, infrastructure, renewables, defence, and mining.Be part of a growing environmental planning team in Adelaide.Work in a culture that values technical excellence, collaboration, and career development.What You'll Be DoingDeliver high-quality consultancy services to our valued clients.Lead environmental impact assessments and regulatory approvals (EP Act, EPBC Act, bilateral processes).Advise on approvals pathways, environmental constraints, and risk.Prepare and review reports, referrals, EIS/EMP documentation, and submissions.Liaise with regulators, clients, and stakeholders.Support business development and strategic growth in South Australia.What You'll NeedDegree in Environmental Planning, Science, or related field.5+ years' experience in environmental approvals in SA or interstate.Strong understanding of SA legislation (Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act, Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Act, Mining Act) and Commonwealth legislation (EPBC Act).Excellent communication and project management skills.Why Join KBR?Our people are the heart of our business; they are what make us successful.
