Our newly formed AI Office is a small, agile team, driving AI strategy, governance, and enablement. As we expand, we're looking for a new team member who combines strategic thinking, operational execution, and a hands-on mindset for shaping AI in a regulated environment.Your Tasks As Senior AI Advisor (AI Office), you will be at the intersection of AI governance, technology, and innovation. Your work will span three key areas:AI Governance & ComplianceSupport the implementation and evolution of the Group AI Governance Framework.Contribute to assessments under the EU AI Act and internal risk frameworks.Interface with Legal, Compliance, Security, and Data teams. AI Strategy & InnovationSupport the Group AI Officer in developing and evolving the AI strategy across Erste entities.Engage with key stakeholders to identify emerging AI trends and their relevance to the bank.Help translate strategic ambitions into actionable programs. Operational Enablement & Use Case SupportAct as a sparring partner for AI use case owners across Erste Group.Closely collaborate with other units dealing with AI in Erste Digital.Coordinate the onboarding of new AI systems, including risk assessments and architectural alignment.Contribute to cross-functional working groups, task forces, and pilots. Your Background 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in a top-tier consultancy, technology advisory, or in-house transformation role.Strong project or program management skills (PMP, Prince2, or agile certifications a plus).A solid understanding of IT or data governance; experience in regulated industries is an asset.Keen interest in AI technologies, digital innovation, and their real-world applications.Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.A collaborative mindset and ability to bridge business, tech, and compliance perspectives.
