A leading company in the field of sports betting is currently building a central data science team in Vienna. For this exciting development, a dedicated Big Data Administrator is being sought who wants to help shape modern technologies in a dynamic environment.Your responsibilities:Administration, monitoring, and optimization of the Big Data environment based on Apache Hadoop in the AWS CloudManagement and maintenance of services like Kafka, Flink, Ni Fi, Dynamo DB , and Iceberg TablesDeployment using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Planning and execution of updates and upgradesConsulting Data Engineers and Data Scientists in selecting suitable Hadoop services for business use cases3rd-level support through error analysis and troubleshootingSupport in workload optimization , e.g., through query tuningEvaluation and implementation of cloud-native servicesYour profile:Completed technical education (e.g., degree in computer science or equivalent qualification)Experience in system administration of Linux systems (especially Red Hat)Solid knowledge in setting up and operating Big Data environments based on Apache HadoopInterest in continuous learning and personal developmentWhat our client offers you:An agile and dynamic work environment with flat hierarchiesDiverse training and development opportunities within the companyAttractive benefits of a large enterprise, such as:Remote work optionsMeasures for occupational health promotionAccess to a fitness centerPublic transport job ticketand many other benefitsJob Nr: 2813
