About The Opportunity Austal Defence Australia is seeking a dynamic Lead Planner to provide strategic leadership across planning and scheduling functions for complex shipbuilding programs. Reporting to the SSA Planning & Scheduling Manager within the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), this role is critical to ensuring programmatic compliance and delivery excellence. What’s Involved Governance of Work Orders and Schedule Integration Scope Integration and Alignment Performance Monitoring and Reporting Risk and Change Management Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement Subcontractor Coordination You’ll Need 3-5+ years experience in project planning or scheduling within shipbuilding, defence, or complex manufacturing environments High attention to detail and accuracy Stakeholder engagement skills Experience working with ERP systems and planning frameworks Understanding of earned Value Management principles and reporting Proficient in Primavera P6 and Excel Why Join Us?
