Senior / Estimator – SMP, Fuel, Piping & Water

A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to join their growing business in Sydney. You will be responsible for quantity surveying, materials take-offs and design to allow pricing on preliminary design information including prepare and present bid information as part of review and tender presentations. They work across Civil, Infrastructure / Utilities, SMP, Piping, Fuel, Water Infrastructure etc. sectors from smaller up to the value of $100m+, experience with similar projects in these sectors would be an advantage. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assemble scope of works and request for tender documentation Conduct site visits (remote and interstate sites) Conduct commercial, risk and profitability reviews Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar Minimum 5 to 10 years+ experience in a similar role Experience in Bid Management and preparation of tender documentation Understanding of Risk Management A strong commercial acumen Ability to work part of a team as well as autonomously High level of organisation and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well-developed interpersonal skills Experience with Microsoft Office suite & MS Project Superior knowledge using Primavera P6 Construction Safety Induction (white/blue) card Driver Licence Ability to obtain a clear Police Check This is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
