Gelato and Specialties - Sales and Technical Manager Company: Oppenheimer Pty Ltd – one of Australia’s largest foodservice companies. We are seeking a talented individual with an extensive chef or food science background to join our Gelato & Specialties Division. Role Summary: This role is not hands‑on cooking but focuses on supporting 5‑star hotel chefs, gelato makers, major caterers and café cooks by introducing innovative products with world‑class technology. It involves travel within NSW, interstate and possibly overseas, primarily Monday‑Friday with occasional daytime weekends for trade shows. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with chefs and food scientists to develop and promote gelato and specialty products. Travel to client sites and trade shows to provide product demos and training. Maintain strong communication with internal teams to ensure product quality and innovation. Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise and product knowledge. Qualifications: Extensive food or kitchen experience (chef, food science background). Excellent communication skills and personal motivation. Experience in a food science role or background is a bonus.
