Occupational Therapist - Warwick QLD Occupational Therapist - Warwick, Queensland. Employment Type: Permanent – Full-Time. Part time also considered (FTE 38hrs /week – Monday to Friday). Practice Information This rural, purpose-led allied health provider is located in the Southern Downs area of Queensland. They have a strong team culture with collaboration, flexibility and laughter They are a multiple disciplinary community allied health service providing support clients 16+ years through a mix of in-person, mobile and telehealth services. Their clientele include aged care, people with a disability, people post workplace accident, other insurance based clients, some contract work for the local health service and local AMS as well as private clients. Position Description Purpose of role: The OT role is a rural generalist role with the potential to practice hand therapy if interested in this area. To provide excellent occupational therapy services to all clients who seek our help. To empower people through information and education. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Current AHPRA registration Salary Information $90,000 – $130,000 per annum. About Warwick Warwick is located in the Southern Downs area of Queensland. It is a vibrant and welcoming rural town known for its rich history, friendly community and beautiful natural surroundings. With Stanthorpe just up the road with its wineries, orchards and amazing national parks, as well as Queen Mary Falls just out of Killarney, Warwick is a hub for outdoor enthusiasts. Aside from the outdoors, for the more cultural, Warwick hosts the annual "Jumpers and Jazz" festival attracting thousands to the area each year. It wouldn't be Warwick without a mention of the annual Warwick Campdraft and Rodeo. It has been one of the biggest rodeos on the circuit and is sure to not disappoint Warwick has so much to offer and all this is within 1hr of Toowoomba and 2.5hrs from Brisbane. Following successful placement, eligible candidates may be entitled to receive support and financial assistance through Health Workforce Queensland's comprehensive workforce attraction and retention incentives.
