Business Manager - Volvo Riverside Motor Group Company Overview Established in 1982, Riverside Motor Group is an independently owned company that prides itself on outstanding customer service in its award‑winning dealerships located in Doncaster, Wakefield, Barnsley, Hull and Leeds. The dealerships are recognised by their respective car manufacturers as offering the highest level of customer service and care. The Role As Business Manager, you’ll play a vital role in maximising the dealership’s profitability, managing finance, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the sales team, finance department, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve financial targets. Responsibilities Work with the sales team to structure vehicle deals, ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations while meeting financial needs and budget constraints. Prepare financial reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics for management review. Monitor vehicle inventory and coordinate with the sales team to ensure a sufficient and desirable selection of vehicles for customers. Collaborate with the sales team to expedite deal closures and enhance customer satisfaction. Build and maintain positive relationships with financial institutions, lenders and vendors to negotiate favourable terms and conditions. Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance profitability. Accurately record team logins, holidays and other absences on the Time Management System. Ensure all mandatory and brand training is completed within specified time frames. Establish and build positive relationships with all stakeholders. Competencies Strategic thinking Influence and negotiation A drive to achieve Leadership and management Time management Requirements You must hold a full UK driving licence. 5 years of automotive experience (required). Management experience in person. Compensation Up to £35,000.00 per year plus a bonus scheme.
