DAWMAC INDUSTRIES - BERRIGAN – Berrigan NSW Dawmac Industries, a leading supplier and distributor in the Berrigan region, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Assistant to join their dynamic team. Location: Berrigan, NSW. This full‑time role will be based in our Berrigan location and will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehousing and distribution activities. Candidate must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position. What you'll be doing Providing administrative support within the logistics and distribution team. Assisting with the coordination and tracking of inbound and outbound freight movements. Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock management. Preparing shipping documentation and liaising with carriers to ensure timely deliveries. Responding to customer inquiries related to order status and delivery. Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function. Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse and distribution operations. What we're looking for Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse support role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or distribution sectors. Minimum of 6‑12 months of logistics or warehouse support experience. Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in using warehouse management and inventory control systems. Experience with any warehouse management system. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A collaborative and proactive approach to problem‑solving. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety practices.
