Due to a planned retirement, we are looking to expand our maintenance team and add a qualified fitter on a full‑time, permanent basis. The opportunity involves joining a stable team on a rotating roster, earning competitive pay and contributing to the future growth of their business. What You'll Be Doing This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role that will be integral to the site's success. Rapid Diagnostics: Sharpen your fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills daily. High‑Speed Equipment: Work on preventative and reactive maintenance of packaging, filling, conveying, and sorting machinery. Driving Change: Proactively contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives—your ideas matter. Tech‑Savvy Maintenance: Utilize modern systems to log work and support the move toward predictive maintenance. The Ideal Candidate Trade Required: Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade Qualification (Qualified Fitter). Connect‑Disconnect license highly desirable; we will invest in your dual‑trade potential. Reliable transport. Willing to work shifts (day, afternoon & night in rotation). 5+ years of experience, including apprenticeship, as a fitter/technician in a manufacturing environment. Excellent computer skills and a non‑negotiable safety‑first attitude. What You'll Get in Return Competitive Rate: $50–$55 per hour plus highly competitive shift loading.
