About the role Exclusive opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Minto site to commence ASAP. You will work 7am‑3pm Monday–Friday (some OT required occasionally). As a Maintenance Fitter you will work closely with the maintenance team on preventative and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical machinery within the factory, analyse performance issues, and develop and implement strategies for improvement in production and efficiency. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory and shutdown maintenance. Ensuring all relevant procedures and safe work method statements are filled out before maintenance tasks commence. Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve operational effectiveness. Experience with welding (MIG, TIG) highly advantageous. Understanding of condition monitoring and use of the maintenance management system SAP. Adhering to safe work practices and identifying hazards and reporting incidents. Requirements Mechanical trade licence or similar (Boilermaker, Plant mechanic, HV Diesel Mechanic) and previous experience as a Fitter within a manufacturing environment. Previous exposure within industrial manufacturing with routine & breakdown experience. Confined space & WAH – preferred. Strong safety focus. Proficiency with SAP maintenance system. First Aid, Forklift, and Elevated Work Platform certifications desirable. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. A hands‑on attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. What we offer We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
