Overview This is a fabulous opportunity to join the team at Medical & Aged Care Group where we are leading the industry in raising the quality of living for elderly residents in care. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Wellbeing Team Member to join our friendly team in Casey Aged Care. Responsibilities Manage time, assist with planning and facilitating wellbeing activities Manage time, assist with planning and facilitating wellbeing activities Recreational & leisure experiences Well-being programs Individual social engagement, emotional, spiritual & cultural support Family & Community liaison Community engagement & social justice projects Individual social engagement & emotional support Assisting with care plans and programs Continually exploring new opportunities and programs to meet the needs of our residents Experience and Qualifications Understanding of the Aged Care Standards, accreditation, continuous improvement ANACC requirements. Certificate 3 or 4 Individual (Ageing or Disability) Support, and/or Certificate 4 or Diploma in Leisure & Health, and/or Certificate 3 Allied Health Assistance, and/or Certificate 4 in Disability, and/or Diploma Community Services, and/or Food Safety Certificate, and/or Proven experience within a residential aged care setting PCW Certificate - desirable however not essential Current police check Required Working Rights Required Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Highly desirable COVID Cover for all eligible members and boosters where suitable Highly desirable Our Values Compassion: generous spirit, welcoming hospitality, connect.
