Add expected salary to your profile for insights Team : Product (reporting to Head of Product) Overview As we undertake a significant contract with a federal government department,we are seeking a delivery-driven Product Manager to manage the functional design, configuration oversight, and value delivery of a SaaS platform implementation. Working in close partnership with the ProjectManager, this role ensures the solution meets business needs, aligns with the product vision, and is delivered successfully and on time. The ideal candidate combines strong product thinking with hands‑on delivery experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of SaaS platforms. Candidates must be an Australian citizen and able to pass a National Security Check. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership & Vision Serve as the primary product lead for the implementation, ensuring the platform is configured and deployed to maximise customer value. Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and scope for the enterprise implementation. Prioritise requirements and features based on business value, feasibility, dependencies, and customer outcomes. Translate high‑level business goals into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. Collaboration with Project Management Work in partnership with the Project Manager to align scope, timelines, and delivery plans. Support the PM with risk and issue resolution by providing product‑related clarity and decision‑making. Participate in project planning, sprint planning, release planning, and milestone reviews. Ensure product decisions are fully integrated into the delivery schedule and communicated to stakeholders. Requirements & Stakeholder Management Lead discovery sessions with the customer to understand business processes, challenges, and future‑state needs. Gather, validate, and prioritise requirements, ensuring alignment with product capabilities and constraints. Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are clear and managed effectively. Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the implementation lifecycle. SaaS Configuration & Solution Design Manage the functional design of the solution, ensuring the configuration and workflows meet documented requirements. Collaborate with technical teams and the client on configuration, integrations, data models, and system capabilities. Validate configuration and ensure alignment with product standards and best practices. Provide hands‑on support in refining workflows, business rules, and platform settings when appropriate. Delivery & Execution Oversee backlog management, sprint readiness, and acceptance of completed work. Conduct functional reviews, demos, and iteration reviews with the customer and implementation team. Ensure solution quality by supporting QA activities, reviewing test results, and signing off on product acceptance. Drive readiness activities for launch, including training content, documentation, and end‑user support materials. Qualifications Required Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role delivering SaaS or enterprise software implementations. Strong understanding of the SaaS delivery lifecycle, including configuration, integration, data migration, and UAT. Proven ability to translate business needs into product requirements and user stories. Demonstrated experience working with cross‑functional teams including engineering, implementation, PMO, and customer stakeholders. Excellent communication, facilitation, and decision‑making skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Nice‑to‑Have Experience working directly with enterprise customers or in customer‑facing delivery roles. Experience working in health, health‑tech or similar. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Knowledge of common enterprise SaaS platforms. Ability to understand technical concepts such as APIs, integrations, and data flows.
