It has 9 offices situated throughout Australia. It operates across Civil, Structural and Remedial Engineering disciplines, sharing projects and expertise between offices. Project types include Commercial, Industrial, Residential High‑End (Bespoke & High‑Rise up to 14 levels). The remedial design team works fluidly with its other offices, and mentoring happens with everybody regardless of location. About The Role This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate Remedial Engineer who relishes working on a variety of projects. We are seeking an outgoing, ambitious Engineer with excellent communication, a keen eye for detail, and high proficiency in report writing and documentation. You will perform site inspections and identify building defects such as waterproofing issues, cracks and other structural defects, provide design solutions and compile reports. The role offers the opportunity to undertake a range of responsibilities that will include site visits, forensic investigations, building inspections, documentation/photographs, writing reports, proposing and designing a scope of works, specifications and major defect rectification/problem resolution. The ideal candidate will be able to work fairly autonomously, but will be provided direction and will be able to run projects fairly confidently with minimal supervision. You will be mentored by a Remedial Manager who has gained significant Remedial Engineering experience and is well respected within the industry. Key Responsibilities, Skills And Qualifications Ideally has a minimum of 3 years Remedial Engineering experience, predominantly gained working in Australia Performs investigative works on‑site for structural assessment Prepares clear and concise structural reports to satisfy all aspects of the structural assessment for the facility management, strata, legal and insurance industries Undertakes remedial analysis/designs Prepares technical scopes of work and tender packages Builds and maintains professional relationships with building owners, property managers and stakeholders through the life of the project to ensure all deliverables are met within agreed timeframes Is driven to complete assigned tasks on time, with accuracy and to agreed specifications and budget Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a building construction related degree Proven knowledge in using software for structural analysis and design Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently, and also effectively as part of a team (and collaboratively across functional groups) Full working rights in Australia Strong focus on company culture and an employee wellness program A career company where achievements are rewarded and personal development and career growth are encouraged Sydney CBD office location Work‑life balance and a flexible work arrangement in the form of a compressed 9‑day working fortnight How to apply Please submit a full professional resume highlighting your experience with the above criteria or email Alex Stephen at .
