Overview Akcelo is an independent Brand Experience agency delivering powerful brand experiences that people love. We fuse creativity with experience design to solve business problems and generate white-space opportunities for the likes of McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Tinder and TikTok. This Social Executive role with Akcelo is based in Redfern, NSW, AU. We are looking for a Social Executive who is passionate about the areas that drive our brands and influence our audiences. Our ideal candidates' interests range from music, food to the latest TikTok trends. You will understand the nuances of consumer behaviour on social media - what they are talking about, where they’re saying it and how to respond as a brand guardian. You can turn social behaviour into a genuine creative thought starter or potentially award-winning idea. You’re a chameleon that can shift TOV to match your audience. You live and breathe social media and know about format changes, shifts in channel behaviours and trends before they hit the For You page. You’ll apply an Editorial mindset to how you tackle Community Engagement. With great progression, the chance to work with the latest technology and some of the world’s most famous brands, a normal day in the role includes: Responsibilities Assisting with insights and proactively bringing forward opportunities for ideation, jump-off points and creative executions Creative at your core – ability to ideate quickly (snappy responses, captions, hashtags) Culture – keeping culture at the forefront to find opportunities and trending moments for brands to be relevant Reporting – distilling large amounts of data into insightful reports for brand and insights teams Understanding your Canvas – familiarity with different social channels and formats and how to adapt creative to fit them while pushing boundaries Moderation and engagement of owned social channels for brands including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest Work collaboratively with creatives, strategists, social teams and clients to deliver best practice Benefits A workplace that doesn’t just have the word flexibility written in a policy A company that really values its people — you will not just be another number Unbelievable employee benefits like flex Fridays, annual ski trips, social events, team office drinks and more A workplace that offers learning and development opportunities, with a strong, supportive environment and modern facilities Qualifications Confident communication skills to energetically engage internal and external stakeholders Comfortable shooting content for social A passion for subcultures and sharing personal insights Ability to juggle multiple brands and tones of voice Strong written skills and attention to detail Comfortable working under urgency, with context switching and being resourceful Positive, solution-focused attitude Willingness to grow with and alongside the business A collaborative, team-oriented mindset Open attitude and excitement by change; you are a problem solver The passion to champion your team within the agency Note A Final Note: This is a role with Akcelo, not with Hatch.
