Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate, Funds Services . Reporting to the Senior Manager, this is a full‑time and permanent role based in the heart of Melbourne CBD and offers a hybrid working arrangement – 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, build strong stakeholder relationships, and grow within a supportive, high‑performing team. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the finance team members of the client on daily financial processing, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, tax matters, entity management and needs and reporting to their internal management and key stakeholders. Support accurate maintenance and reporting of all financial records in compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and coordinate the external financial reporting process including planning, audit liaison and oversight, and reviewing financial statement comments. Partner with both the offshore and onshore team to run weekly vendor verification, vendor management and accounts payable payment function. Support by coordinating the monthly recharge and expense management function for the client. Provide support to the team in overseeing the client’s entity governance activities, including compliance with ASIC obligations. Act as a first point of escalation for the client’s Australian operations and engage with their global finance team as required. Key Requirements A minimum of 2–4 years’ relevant experience across fund accounting, corporate accounting, or audit. CA ANZ or CPA qualified or currently working towards qualification. Strong Excel skills and confident using the full Microsoft Office suite. Solid understanding of AASB Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across various levels of the organisation. Proven ability to work in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment across both onshore and offshore teams. Knowledge of fund structures, trust accounting, or investment fund operations will be highly regarded. Benefits In our Australia offices, we believe in putting our employees’ well‑being first.
