ASIC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver an important regulatory compliance project as part of the Regulatory, Data and Business Improvements Program. Strong experience with delivering regulatory and technology projects is a must. Sydney based Salary between $168,174 - $174,312 (depending on experience) + 15.5% superannuation 12 month fixed term contract Applications close at 11:59pm ADST, 16 December 2026 Team The DD&T Portfolio Office provides a wide range of portfolio, project management, business planning and governance support services to ASIC. We partner extensively with ASIC IT as well as the newly established Digital Transformation team to deliver projects that meet ASIC's strategic and operational business needs. Your role As a Senior Project Manager, you will blend your project management and technical skillsets to deliver a variety of strategic business projects. Role Build and maintain strong relationships with IT, ASIC, and external stakeholders Adhere to ASIC Project Management and System Development Methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) Drive projects to meet KPIs: time, budget, scope, quality, risk, benefits Embed change using the ASIC Organisational Change Management Framework Provide clear reporting to boards, sponsors, and stakeholders Control projects with appropriate tools; escale risks early Identify, engage, and manage required resources Comply with Commonwealth procurement rules and processes About You 7+ years project management, including large/critical systems and government projects 3+ years agile delivery experience Formal project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMBOK) Business project delivery or Business Operations experience Australian Government security clearance (highly regarded) Tertiary IT qualification or equivalent experience Independent, accountable, minimal supervision required Benefits Attractive superannuation Additional leave entitlements 50/50 hybrid work‑from‑home model Flexible work arrangements Assistance for study and professional development Additional Information View the position description for more information or click ‘apply' to start your application.
