Join the team at Altequip as a full-time Mechanical Fitter based in Geebung, Queensland. In this key role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial Elevated Work Platforms and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. What you'll be doing Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Equipment, including Motors, Hydraulics, Pumps, and Auto Electrical. Carry out fault-finding and diagnose issues with machinery Dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical components Comply with all health, safety, and quality standards Maintain detailed records of work undertaken Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient operations What we're looking for Formal trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a similar industrial environment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Commitment to workplace health and safety Effective communication and teamwork skills What we offer Competitive salary and allowances Opportunities for career progression and skills development A positive and supportive work culture About us Altequip is a leading provider of industrial equipment and maintenance services.
