I am currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for several upcoming shutdowns across Southeast Queensland. You must have a solid background in shutdown or project-based work. Shutdown Opportunities Shutdown 1 – Yatala Dates: 29th December – 10th January Hours: 8–12 hour days Fit Test: Not required Shutdown 2 – Pinkenba Dates: Starting 2nd January – 14 days straight Hours: 12 hour days Fit Test: Required Responsibilities Dismantling and reassembling pumps, conveyors, valves, gearboxes, motors, and other plant equipment Reassembling all machinery to manufacturer specifications Replacing bearings, seals, couplings, and other mechanical components Completing corrective and preventative maintenance tasks Performing shaft, pulley, and rotating equipment alignments Conducting repairs and maintenance on site equipment Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with WHS procedures Collaborating with other trades and supervisors to meet schedules and deadlines Requirements Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter Proven experience in shutdown or project environments Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong commitment to safety, quality, and detail White Card Confined Space Working at Heights Plese click apply or email Emma at: #J-18808-Ljbffr
