Intelife is looking for Support Workers to support people with a disability to live a full and happy life in which they can reach their goals and realise their dreams. The job This is a rewarding role that offers work-life balance, flexibility and the opportunity to further your career. This is not a Residential Setting role. You’ll support participants with a range of abilities to maintain and develop new skills, engage in community activities and build meaningful relationships. No two days are the same – you may find yourself supporting a person to go to the gym, take part in a group bowling activity, learn how to catch the bus, cook a meal or get ready for a job interview. It all depends on what they’d like to achieve. What we offer working in a team with dedicated colleagues a fun and energetic environment flexible hours with shifts available most days of the week competitive remuneration, including salary sacrifice of up to $18,550 per annum, superannuation and leave loading ongoing training and support support for career progression including the opportunity to gain Certificate III and IV qualifications wellness program, including discounted health insurance and Employee Assistance program About you passionate about helping others able to work autonomously able to work with people with varied support needs flexible and able to cope with changing demands able to complete records and reports efficiently You’ll also have or be willing to obtain: a Working with Children Check a valid National Police Clearance of no more than 3-months old a Senior First Aid certificate And you’ll need the appropriate right to work in Australia a valid WA driver’s licence an aroadworthy, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle that you are willing to use at work (kms will be reimbursed) Highly Desirable Previous experience in assisting customers with complex needs and familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support Plans Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent Previous experience supporting people with disabilities If this opportunity sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you Click the Apply button to submit your resume.
