We are seeking a caring individual to visit our elderly client in the beautiful South Coast suburb of Nowra. Our client loves reminiscing about her travels, coffee, socialising and getting out and about. She would like you to visit her for a cuppa and a chat or, if the weather permits, head into town to a café together. Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, supporting people to live in their homes and maintain their independence. We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of clients who are living at home. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Requirements 18 years or older National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Sunday; visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
