Machine Operator – Mailing We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator – Mailing to join our team in Mulgrave, Victoria. About the Role This full-time position is critical for our mail fulfilment division. As a Mailing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various mailing equipment, primarily inserters, to ensure high-volume mailings are processed accurately and efficiently. This role also involves critical manual work and an understanding of regulatory documentation. Key Responsibilities Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated inserting machinesney Bowes or similar brands is advantageous). Quality & Accuracy: Ensure correct documents are collated, inserted, and mailed according to client specifications and postal regulations. Manual Handling: Perform detailed hand stuffing, collating, and packing for complex or smaller‑run jobs. Documentation: Prepare and understand mailing manifests, lodgement paperwork, and other necessary postal documentation to facilitate delivery. Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance to keep machinery running smoothly and safely. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the planning and project teams to ensure deadlines are met. Ideal Candidate Proven experience operating high-speed mailing inserter equipment within a print, mail house, or fulfillment environment. Demonstrated experience with hand stuffing and manual collation. Strong working understanding of manifests and Australia Post processes. Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality assurance. Mechanically inclined and comfortable performing machine setup and adjustments. Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting tight production deadlines.
