As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming our data landscape, working with cutting‑edge technologies to solve complex business problems and drive intelligent solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines in Snowflake. Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions. Implement data transformation and processing frameworks to extract and load data from various sources. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimisation within the Snowflake environment. Develop and manage ETL processes using industry best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve data‑related issues, ensuring seamless data flow. Stay ahead with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team. What we’re looking for Proven experience in Snowflake data warehouse design and development. Strong expertise in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages. Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools. Familiarity with data modelling, warehousing, and best practices in data architecture. Experience in Dataiku or DBT. Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) is highly desired. Knowledge of Snowflake best practices and new features. Background in the financial services industry is a plus but not mandatory.
