Job: Snowflake Data Engineer Location: Sydney (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension) We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer, with expertise in Snowflake for an upcoming project for one of the government organisations. Required Skills 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering. 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake Data/AWS Demonstrated experience and understanding of Snowflake architecture . Excellent knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes , SQL, BI tools and other Data management systems . Hands on experience in Python. Experience in Redshift implementation is preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams. Responsibilities Experience in creating and monitoring SNOW PIPE for continuous data ingestion from source. Work alongside customers to build data management platforms using AWS products like Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Redshift, Kinesis, Amazon Machine Learning, Amazon Athena, Lake Formation, S3, AWS Glue, DynamoDB, ElastiCache and the Relational Database Service (RDS) Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ETL processes within cloud environments. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Implement data warehousing and dimensional data modelling concepts to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Stay updated with emerging technologies, such as Data Science, Big Data, and Cloud Computing, to contribute to continuous improvement. Provide expert technical advice and contribute to project phases including strategy, advisory, design, testing, and deployment. Work closely with clients to deliver value-driven data solutions.
