Jamieson Edwards is a boutique residential construction company specialising in high-performance, architect-led homes across Southern Tasmania. We’re a small, committed team who genuinely care about craftsmanship, client experience, and doing things properly. We’re now looking for a Part‑Time Administration Assistant to support our Construction Manager and Company Directors across day‑to‑day business operations. This role has a lighter scope than a traditional Operations/Systems role – it’s primarily about keeping things running smoothly, staying organised, and helping the team stay ahead. Why You’ll Love Working With Us Flexible working hours (school‑friendly hours, spread across the week, or standard part‑time – we’re open to what works best) Great pay based on experience Supportive, down‑to‑earth team who value good communication and initiative Work with a premium builder delivering award‑level homes Opportunity to grow the role over time if desired Your Day‑to‑Day Will Include General admin support for the Construction Manager and Directors Scheduling meetings, site visits, and internal appointments Assisting with document organisation (Google Drive, project files, contracts, safety documents) Helping with client communication and project updates Data entry and light reporting tasks Supporting onboarding of new subcontractors (licenses, insurances, WHS docs) Assisting with invoicing tasks, timesheets, and internal reminders (no deep accounting required) Ordering office supplies / basic procurement admin Other general admin as needed to keep the team efficient and organised We’re Looking For Someone Who Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail Communicates clearly and professionally Can work independently and take initiative Is comfortable using modern cloud‑based tools (Google Workspace, Xero basics, etc.) Has experience in admin, customer service, or coordination roles (Bonus) Has exposure to the construction industry – but this is not essential Role Details Part‑time – approximately 24 hours per week , with flexibility Based in Hobart , with potential for some remote work depending on tasks Start date: February 2026 How to Apply If this sounds like a role you’d thrive in, we’d love to hear from you.
