Our wide range of equipment and services are used across all industries including mining, power generation, industrial, petrochemical, oil and gas, process, water and wastewater. bTHE ROLE Based at our QLD branch in Paget and reporting to the Production Manager you will assist in undertaking the following: Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees. Working with and reporting to the Production Manager to ensure all delivery schedules and lead times are maintained to meet client expectations. Processing of Orders – Planning Sheets, Flange sheets, all materials required, sub-contracting – eg pressings, painting. Using the company ERP/CRM to input labour, materials, control stock. Purchasing job specific materials and services. Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers, stores, accounts and management. Checking of drawings and manufacturing check-sheets to assist with manufacturing issues. Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption. Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff. Assist in Project Management from time to time. Compiling MDR’s and ITP’s. bABOUT YOU To be successful candidates will have the following skills and attributes: Experience production planning and quality control principles. Mechanically minded. Ability to read and understand drawings. Proficient in MS Office and Visual manufacturing. Sound written and oral communication skills. Good at math and statistics. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities. Ideally the successful candidate will have a strong workshop history. We are looking for someone who is "hands on", can think for themselves and have the drive to get the task completed on time. bEMPLOYMENT INCENTIVES 9 Day Fortnight. Advancement prospects.
