(Organisation site )Policy, Performance, International and Intergovernmental DivisionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our Study Tours, Professional Visits & Offshore Programs (SPTV) team. The Project Officer will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing projects that contribute to our organization's objectives. The Project Officer STPV reports to the Manager, Study Tours, Professional Visits & Offshore Programs, and is located within the International Business Unit of the Department of Education International (DEI). The Study Tours, Professional Visits and Offshore Programs team is a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects across various international markets.The Department of Education (DoE) is committed to delivering responsive services focused on equity and excellence to Queenslanders and their communities. The Study Tours, Professional Vists & Offshore programs team serves the International Education market in providing international students to gain access to Queensland Education opportunities.Your role:As a Project Officer, you will undertake specialist study tours and/or offshore school programs project activities to achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities include:Assist senior staff with the implementation and management of all international study tour and / or offshore school programs, including liasing with international and domestic tour operators, offshore based schools and state schools, and leading individual programs.Prepare individual group quotations and bookings for your allocated accredited agents through the use of the QStar web-based tour management system.Assist senior with the implementation and management of all international study tour programs, including liaison with international and domestic based tour operators and state schools, leading individual programs as required.Create and disseminate policies and procedures relating to virtual and onshore study tour and / or offshore school programs.Assist in the creation and delivery of training modules for both accredited and state schools.Sales and Marketing of all EQI Study Tour, Professional Vists and Offshore School programs.Provision of high quality customer service.Creation of briefing notes, and other required documentation and / or reports as required.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.To Apply:Attach a brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (referees should have an understanding of your relevant work history)Attach a 1-page written statement about how your achievements and capabilities meet the requirements of the role.We welcome all applicants to share any support needed to ensure our recruitment process is inclusive.Applications remain current for 12 months from the closing date and may be considered for appointment to identical or similar vacancies within the Department.Applications from recruitment agencies will not be accepted.When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.Salary rate shown is reflective of full-time (1.0 FTE).We are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights
