Denman Village Early Learning Centre – Canberra ACT Denman Village Early Learning Centre in Canberra, ACT is seeking an experienced and dedicated Centre Director to lead our growing childcare facility. As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the centre, ensuring exceptional care and education for the children in our community. This is a full‑time position based in the growing suburb of Denman Prospect. What you’ll be doing Providing strong leadership and management to the centre staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment Overseeing the daily operations of the centre, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Developing and implementing educational programs that promote the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of children Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, the local community and other key stakeholders Ensuring the centre meets or exceeds all quality standards and regulations for early childhood education and care Monitoring the centre’s performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives Providing mentorship and professional development opportunities for the centre’s educators What we’re looking for Experience in a senior leadership role within the early childhood education and care sector Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, staff and the community Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of early childhood educators Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care Current Working with Vulnerable People Check, Child protection training and First Aid certification What we offer At Denman Village Early Learning Centre, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
