Accounts Payable Manager An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their high-performing finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include: Managing the accounts payable team and overseeing daily operations to ensure all supplier payments are processed accurately and within agreed timeframes. Reviewing and approving all coding, GST allocations and payment batches, maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Monitoring aged creditors reports and coordinating month-end processes to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule. Overseeing the corporate expense management system, ensuring policy compliance and resolving discrepancies to maintain accountability. Preparing accurate accrual reports and journals for the finance team, ensuring timely delivery of critical financial information. Managing performance and development of direct reports, including workload allocation, training coordination and providing regular feedback. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounts payable procedures. Building productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, handling escalations and ensuring a high standard of service. Qualifications 4-5 years of accounts payable experience in a similar sized organisation, with a genuine interest in leading and mentoring a team. Hold a degree in accounting or finance and be studying towards your CPA or CA qualification. Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management capabilities.
