About the Role We are looking for a Junior Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of secure and resilient network infrastructure solutions. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, this role contributes to ensuring the network architecture meets program requirements for performance, scalability, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career network professional to grow within a complex, high-security environment. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Assist in the design and development of network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud connectivity. Ensure network solutions align with organisational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Support capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimisation of network systems. Participate in technical evaluations and provide input on new technologies and network upgrades. Develop, update, and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks. Assist in troubleshooting and provide support for complex network issues and escalations under supervision. Contribute to disaster recovery planning and network resilience activities. Requirements and Experience Experience or internship exposure in network engineering or network design roles. Strong foundational knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and network security principles. Familiarity with enterprise networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent platforms. Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and virtualisation technologies is desirable. Relevant certifications such as CCNA (CCNP highly regarded). Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Must hold an NV1 Security Clearance (or be eligible to obtain and maintain one). Domestic travel may be required to support program activities. Why Fujitsu?
