Direct message the job poster from Libran IT We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a major digital transformation program focused on centralising and modernising planning applications for state infrastructure. This role will work within an Agile Scrum environment to deliver enhancements, data migration activities, workflow improvements, and configuration updates on a cloud-hosted digital planning platform. The successful candidate will operate autonomously with business stakeholders, gather and refine requirements, support data mapping and migration, and work closely with the Scrum team to translate solution designs into well‑defined user stories. Contract Summary Start Date: 12 January 2026 Contract Length: 12 January 2026 – End of August 2026 Work Model: Hybrid Location: Melbourne Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and user feedback to guide solution design. Work autonomously with government and operational stakeholders to refine requirements and validate processes. Support data migration activities, including mapping data between legacy systems and the new platform. Translate high-level solution designs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and configuration needs. Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams across 2‑week sprints (refinement, planning, daily stand‑ups, demos, retros). Assist with configuration of forms, workflows, and business rules using JSON, handlebars, BPMN 2.0, and DMN tables. Support code repository activities including branching and merging in Git‑based environments. Assist in testing, validating, and reviewing digital workflows and integrations across platform services. Engage proactively with internal and external government stakeholders to ensure alignment with policy and process requirements. Skills & Experience Extensive experience working in Agile teams from requirement elicitation through to delivery. Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst operating autonomously with business stakeholders. Experience with data migration projects , including detailed data mapping between systems. Strong experience with code repository management using GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket (branching, merging, version control). Experience using IDEs such as Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ . Experience working with JSON, HTML, handlebars , and similar formats for configuration and templating. Understanding of cloud‑based architectures and API‑driven platforms (AWS experience beneficial). Experience working with BPMN 2.0 , DMN tables, and workflow‑driven applications (highly regarded). Prior experience working within or alongside government agencies (strongly preferred). Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
