Senior Research Fellow (National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs) Join UNSW in this Senior Research Fellow role at the National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED). Location: Health Translation Hub, Randwick, NSW About NCCRED The National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED) is a national research centre for methamphetamine and emerging drugs of concern that embeds research in clinical practice. It aims to support clinicians to detect and respond to new drug health problems by building clinical research capacity and rapidly translating findings into clinical practice. Why this role matters The Senior Research Fellow is a leadership role within the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) in the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The Fellow will develop and lead research and translational outputs, undertake independent research in clinical, community or digital interventions focusing on methamphetamine and emerging drugs, and manage 1–4 direct reports. Key Skills Required A PhD in medicine, public health or a related field, and/or relevant work experience. Proven commitment to staying current with discipline knowledge and developments. Demonstrated track record of high‑quality, high‑impact research with evidence of a desire and ability to achieve research excellence and capacity for research leadership. Ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines, and build effective relationships. Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
