About Wonder Pies Wonder Pies, founded by renowned Melbourne Chef Raymond Capaldi, is home to handcrafted deep‑pan pies made with shortcrust bases, puff pastry tops, and a beautiful French glaze. As our production continues to grow, we are seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to join our expanding team at our wholesale factory in Coburg North. About the Role This position is ideal for someone who is organised, detail‑focused and enjoys managing workflow and people. Working closely with our Distribution Manager, you will supervise packing and dispatch, and ensure everything runs smoothly from production to delivery. Key Responsibilities Supervise evening operations across packing, order preparation and dispatch Plan and supervise daily production and distribution schedules with accuracy Support and guide team members to achieve performance and quality targets Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records Assist the Distribution Manager in improving operational systems and efficiency Ensure all work areas meet food safety, hygiene and quality standards Prefer operate forklifts or pallet jacks where required (licence preferred) Communicate effectively with production and delivery teams to meet deadlines What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within food manufacturing, logistics or warehouse operations Strong organisational, numerical and planning skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to lead and motivate a small team Proactive, reliable and eager to learn Good communication skills and a positive attitude Physically fit and comfortable working in a refrigerated environment Forklift licence and warehouse equipment experience advantageous Must have own transport (public transport may not align with operating hours) Availability to work Monday to Friday, starting from 3pm What We Offer Competitive pay and genuine opportunities for career growth Direct mentorship from our Distribution Manager Chef‑made meal provided during your shift Supportive and friendly team environment Free onsite parking Immediate start for the right candidate Trial Period This role includes a paid 4 hours trial period to ensure suitability and that the environment is a good fit for you.
