At the heart of community, Dubbo Regional Council offers an opportunity to shape our region as its new People and Culture Business Partner. The role is located in Dubbo, New South Wales and is a temporary parental leave relief position until January 2027. Responsibilities Work closely with partnered area and leaders to develop capacity, capability, and strategies to address identified trends and issues. Lead or participate in strategic projects and initiatives across the organisation. Facilitate and deliver workshops, programs, and initiatives that foster a positive organisational culture. Work with leaders to achieve business objectives, leading strategic initiatives and building relationships. Manage industrial relations matters. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Proven experience providing reliable, professional advice to management at all levels across a broad spectrum of employee relations and HR. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels. Coaching skills to influence adoption of good HR practices. Ability to carry out multiple HR projects and achieve set goals within required timeframes. Desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Accredited Return to Work Coordinator qualification. Accreditation in DiSC or 5 behaviours. Benefits 35‑hour work week with flexible options and generous leave allowances.
