Do you have strong leadership capabilities and experience in complex case management? MFO is seeking a dedicated Senior Domestic Violence Case Manager to join our SARA team, supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD), migrant, and refugee women experiencing DFV. About the Role As the Senior Domestic Violence Case Manager , you will provide expert guidance, leadership, and high-level support within the SARA Program. Your work will focus on client safety, crisis responses, complex case management, mentoring staff, and strengthening partnerships across the community. This role is integral to ensuring our clients receive trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and empowering support. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the SARA team with day-to-day operations and decision-making. Oversee allocation of new referrals, including PAR referrals. Provide expert consultation on risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis interventions. Support staff in delivering timely, client-centred responses both face-to-face and via telephone. Advocate for clients navigating the legal system, housing, healthcare, and other services. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, community organisations, law enforcement, and multidisciplinary teams. Facilitate or co-facilitate group programs and educational workshops for women. Ensure accurate record keeping, reporting, and compliance with organisational and legislative standards. Assist with staff supervision, capability building, and ongoing professional development. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field. Experience in domestic violence support, crisis intervention, and complex case management. Understanding of DFV dynamics and experience working with vulnerable populations. Ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental, trauma-informed support. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Current Driver’s Licence, Blue Card, and National Police Check. Experience working with CALD, migrant, and refugee communities.
